My goal as a leader in higher education is to create a solid connection between the educational experience for students and the continued academic and professional development of each individual associated with an institution of higher education.

I currently work as a Program Coordinator, Sr. for the Northern Arizona University Office of Scholarships and Financial Aid. This position has allowed me to become an expert in both the communicative and processing aspects of providing non-term financial aid for a competency-based educational program. Due to the program's uniqueness, I have built many relationships both internally and externally in the higher education community. Supervising four staff members has also allowed me to further develop my leadership skills.

On December 16, 2016, I will be graduating with a Master's degree in Educational Leadership which will help further my career aspirations.
